Customizing with Leather

Leather in all colors, tones and textures defines the Fall 2011 Robin Bruce Collection

September 262011 (Elliston, VA) — Using only premium, top grain hides, this collection is synonymous with Robin Bruce and Rowe Furniture’s commitment to responsible manufacturing. Handcrafted in the United States, the leather is crafted using environmentally friendly tanning and finishing techniques.

“Robin Bruce has always had a unique design vision so we knew this leather collection would be a perfect addition. The broad range of colors in this program includes teal, terracotta, red wine, chalk and silky metallic. The colors work beautifully with our Robin Bruce fabrics to complement our specific customer’s design esthetic,” said Stefanie Lucas, CEO and President of Rowe Furniture.

An introduction to Robin Bruce’s Premium Leather Program:

  • Casere: tanned in Italy on European hides, this thick, full-bodied, pure aniline leather has a soft deep wax finish that is designed to develop a rich patina over time.
  • Lessina: no two hides are exactly the same. A soft, silky hand, this full aniline, top grain leather features a hand-made effect, creating a unique look on each hide.
  • Garda: fine metallic particles give this top grain leather a subtle iridescence. A sophisticated leather with a soft, silky hand.
  • Vico: top grain leather featuring a pebble texture and a protective finish. Ideal for high traffic areas.

Along with the Premium Leather Program, six new Robin Bruce silhouettes will be introduced at the October High Point Furniture Market that further the independent spirit of the line.

Look for the Robin Bruce line to make headlines in spring 2012.
